Description

Herduo 250 mg Tablet, containing lapatinib as the active ingredient, is prescribed for treating advanced breast cancer. It can be used alone or in conjunction with other medications to target hormone-sensitive cells and rapidly dividing cancer cells that overexpress the human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 protein. While undergoing treatment with Herduo 250 mg Tablet, common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, fatigue, weakness, itchiness, dry skin, reduced appetite, indigestion, constipation, mouth sores, stomach discomfort, sleep disturbances, joint or back pain, coughing, breathing difficulties, headaches, and more may occur. If you encounter severe allergic reactions, skin rashes, or issues with your heart, liver, or lungs, contact your healthcare provider promptly. Notify your physician immediately at the first sign of diarrhea or dehydration, and ensure regular monitoring of your blood pressure while using Herduo 250mg Tablet.

Pharmacological Actions of Herduo 250mg Tablet

Herduo 250mg Tablet inhibits tyrosine kinase, thereby blocking the signaling of Human epidermal growth factor receptor protein (HER2) and Epidermal growth factor receptors (EGFRs) emitted by breast cancer cells. This mechanism results in the inhibition of cancer cell proliferation and induction of cell death.
