Description

Indications and Usage

Alkacel 2 mg Tablet is indicated for:

• Multiple Myeloma

How it Works

Melphalan is an alkylating agent that binds to DNA within cancer cells, preventing them from dividing and leading to cell death. This helps control the growth of cancerous cells in multiple myeloma and ovarian cancer.

Dosage & Administration

• Dose is individualized based on cancer type, body weight, and treatment response

• Swallow tablets whole with water—do not crush or chew

• Can be taken with or without food, as advised by the doctor

• Requires frequent blood tests and organ function monitoring
