Description

How it Works

Azacitidine works by inhibiting abnormal DNA methylation, which helps restore normal function and growth of blood-forming cells in the bone marrow. This slows down cancerous cell proliferation and improves the production of healthy blood cells.

Administered subcutaneously or intravenously by a healthcare professional
Dose depends on body surface area and patient condition
Given in treatment cycles, typically 7 days on, followed by rest
