Description
Ascimib Asciminib 40 mg Tablet contains Asciminib, a targeted therapy used to treat Philadelphia chromosome–positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph+ CML). It helps control cancer cell growth in patients resistant or intolerant to previous treatments.
Benefits
-
Targets CML cells with high precision
-
Effective in patients resistant to multiple TKIs
-
Helps achieve and maintain molecular remission
-
Oral therapy for convenient long-term treatment
-
Lower risk of some TKI-related side effects
Indications and Usage
Ascimib Asciminib 40 mg Tablet is indicated for:
-
Ph+ Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) — Chronic Phase
-
Patients previously treated with at least one TKI
-
Patients resistant or intolerant to prior CML therapies
Therapy must be prescribed and managed by a hematologist/oncologist.
How it Works
Asciminib uniquely targets the ABL myristoyl pocket, blocking BCR-ABL1 signaling responsible for leukemia cell growth. This disrupts cancer cell survival and slows disease progression while sparing healthy cells.
