Cyproterone Acetate

Cyproterone Acetate, a steroid with progestational properties, is utilized in combination with ethinyl estradiol to address severe acne and symptoms of androgenization in women. Additionally, it is administered independently at significantly higher dosages for palliative care in prostate cancer patients. This anti-androgen is employed to manage hypersexuality in males, provide palliative relief in prostatic carcinoma, and, when combined with estrogen, treat severe acne and hirsutism in females.
