Althea Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive pill containing Ethinylestradiol and Cyproterone Acetate. It helps prevent pregnancy and may also improve acne, oily skin, and menstrual cycle regularity when taken as prescribed.

How it Works

Althea Tablet works by:

• Preventing ovulation (release of an egg)

• Thickening cervical mucus to block sperm entry

• Thinning uterine lining to prevent implantation

• Reducing androgen activity to help manage acne

Dosage & Administration

• Take one tablet daily, ideally at the same time each day

• Follow 21-day pill cycle, then a 7-day break (or as instructed)

• If a dose is missed, follow physician or pack instructions

• Do not stop suddenly without medical advice

• Begin only after doctor evaluation if switching from another contraceptive
