Description

Abevmy 100mg Injection contains Bevacizumab, an anti-cancer monoclonal antibody used for treating various solid tumors. It works by blocking blood supply to cancer cells, slowing tumor growth and improving treatment outcomes.

Benefits

  • Slows tumor growth by blocking new blood vessel formation

  • Improves progression-free survival in many cancers

  • Enhances effectiveness of chemotherapy

  • Shown to reduce tumor vascularity

  • Used across multiple cancer types

Indications and Usage

Abevmy 100mg Injection is indicated for:

  • Metastatic colorectal cancer

  • Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)

  • Ovarian, fallopian tube, and peritoneal cancer

  • Glioblastoma

  • Renal cell carcinoma

  • Cervical cancer

Used only under the supervision of an oncologist and administered by a healthcare professional.

How it Works

Bevacizumab targets VEGF (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor), a protein responsible for forming blood vessels. By blocking VEGF, the medicine reduces the blood supply that tumors need to grow, effectively slowing or stopping cancer progression.

  • Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and overall response is essential
