Forteo Injection

Forteo Injection is a prescription medicine used to treat postmenopausal women with osteoporosis who are at high risk for fractures or who cannot use other osteoporosis treatments. It is also used to increase bone mass in men with primary or hypogonadal osteoporosis at high risk for fractures.

Forteo Injection helps to increase bone mass and reduce the risk of broken bones (fractures) in individuals with osteoporosis, particularly postmenopausal women and men with certain types of osteoporosis.

Forteo Injection is recommended for postmenopausal women with osteoporosis at high risk for fractures, men with primary or hypogonadal osteoporosis at high risk for fractures, and individuals who cannot tolerate other osteoporosis treatments.
