Indications and Usage

Abirakast 250 mg Tablet is indicated for:

• Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer (mCRPC)

• Metastatic High-Risk Castration-Sensitive Prostate Cancer (mCSPC)

Therapy must be initiated and supervised by an oncologist or urologist.

How it Works

Abiraterone inhibits the CYP17 enzyme, which plays a key role in testosterone production. By reducing androgen levels in the testes, adrenal glands, and tumor cells, it deprives cancer cells of the hormones they need to grow and spread.

Dosage & Administration

• Standard dose: 1,000 mg daily (four 250 mg tablets) or as prescribed

• Take on an empty stomach—1 hour before or 2 hours after meals
