Description
Aromasin 25mg Tablet contains Exemestane, a hormonal therapy used to treat hormone receptor–positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It lowers estrogen levels to help slow or stop cancer growth under oncologist supervision.
Benefits
-
Reduces estrogen-driven cancer growth
-
Lowers risk of breast cancer recurrence
-
Proven survival and disease-control benefits
-
Convenient once-daily oral therapy
-
Well-established hormonal treatment option
Indications and Usage
Aromasin 25mg Tablet is indicated for:
-
Hormone receptor–positive (HR+) breast cancer
-
Postmenopausal women
-
Adjuvant therapy following tamoxifen treatment
-
Advanced or metastatic breast cancer, if disease has progressed
Treatment must be prescribed and monitored by a cancer specialist.
How it Works
Exemestane blocks the aromatase enzyme, responsible for estrogen production in postmenopausal women. Lower estrogen levels deprive HR-positive cancer cells of the hormone they need to grow, helping slow or stop tumor progression.
